报告人简介：
简金世博士，硕士就读于西北农林科技大学资环学院，博士就读于佛吉尼亚理工大学农业与生命科学院。2017-2018年间在佛吉尼亚理工大学从事博士后研究，现工作于美国太平洋西北国家实验室。研究方向为土壤科学, 土壤健康, 土壤碳循环与气候变化, 生态系统建模, 大数据, 数据挖掘, meta-分析, 以及城市生态系统等。在全球土壤碳对气候变化的响应，覆盖作物，土壤健康，数据挖掘等方面取得了重要学术成就。主要为：（1）设计并建立了一个全球小时和天尺度上的土壤呼吸数据库，分析了全球土壤呼吸和环境因子之间的关系并估算了全球土壤呼吸量，系统分析了从小时尺度和点位尺度上变换到全球尺度和年代尺度上的土壤呼吸过程中的误差源和误差量级，为进一步分析全球尺度上土壤碳对气候变化的响应以及预测气候变化提供了理论依据；（2）设计并建立了一个全球土壤健康数据库，分析了覆盖作物和免耕等农田管理措施对土壤健康尤其是土壤碳库的影响，为提高农田生态系统土壤健康的，改善农田管理措施提供了基础数据和理论依据；（3）基于土壤坡面调查和Hydrus模型研究了美国城市化对城市土壤水文以及城市排水的影响。发表重要期刊论文多篇。博士期间获得弗吉尼亚理工大学研究生学术研究讨论会报告一等奖, 弗吉尼亚理工大学研究生科研基金一等奖等。

Dr. Jinshi Jian is currently a postdoctoral research scientist in the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. His research focuses on integrating large datasets into statistical and process-based models to understand environmental and human-related influences (e.g., agricultural management practices, urbanization) on carbon and water cycling. He holds M.S. degrees in Soil and Water Conservation from Northwest A&F University, and earned his Ph.D. in Agronomy in 2017 from Virginia Tech. He won the Virginia Tech Graduate Research Development Program (GRDP) award in 2016. Dr. Jian’s research has been published in Global Climate Change, Soil Biology & Biochemistry, and Earth’s Future.
